Where Open Water
Meets Trusted Craft
Wild Star Harbor is an enquiry desk for boat owners and visitors in Oita: berth and mooring arrangements, harbor visits, water-sports enquiries and maintenance estimates. We take your details, answer in writing, and leave the decision with you.
Four Things We Can Help With
Each one starts the same way: you describe the boat and the plan, and we reply with what can be arranged and on what terms. This site shows no price list or live availability, because both depend on the vessel, the season and the berth.
Boat & Yacht Mooring
Tell us the length, beam and draft of your boat and the period you have in mind. We reply with the berth or mooring options that can be arranged. Nothing is reserved until you hold a written confirmation.
Read the Mooring Guide →Harbor Visits
You can ask to walk the piers and see how berths and shore services are laid out before you commit. What exists at the berth we offer is listed in our written reply, never assumed from a photograph.
See What a Visit Covers →Water-Sports Enquiries
Paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing introductions and similar days on the water. When an activity needs a registered operator or a qualified instructor, we say who is responsible before you agree to anything.
Ask About Activities →Maintenance Estimates
Describe the work you need, from hull cleaning to a winter lay-up. We answer with a written estimate and name the technician or yard that would do the job before you decide.
Request an Estimate →From First Message to Written Answer
No sign-up, no deposit on this website, no countdown timers. Three plain steps.
Tell us about your boat
Use the form below, write to inquiry@wildstarharbor.com, or call. Useful details: boat type and length, what you want (a berth, a visit, an activity day, a repair), and the dates you are thinking of.
We answer in writing
You get the options that fit your case, the conditions that apply and the charges for that case. We do not quote from a standard rate card, so two similar-looking boats can get different answers for good reasons.
You decide, unhurried
Nothing is booked or charged until you accept the written terms. If you would like to see the harbor first, say so and we will arrange a visit.
Harbors We Talk About
Illustrative photographs of marinas and open water. They show the kind of place we deal with, not our own berths or staff.
Unhurried, Written Down, Checked Twice
We would like every boat owner to get the answers we would want for our own boat: the questions that matter (draft, beam, engine, how long, what work), a reply in plain words, and no pressure to say yes on the day. That is why this site has no rate card and no booking calendar. Berth terms and repair scopes change with the vessel and the season, and a number printed here would soon be wrong.
Weather has the last word on the water. If conditions are doubtful, an activity day is postponed rather than pushed, and a mooring plan always includes what happens when a typhoon is forecast.
Plan Your Visit
Ask about a berth, a harbor visit, a day on the water or a maintenance estimate. We read enquiries in the order they arrive and do not promise a fixed reply time.
Contact & Location
Writing first is the quickest way to get a useful answer, because we can look at your boat details before we reply. Phone calls are welcome by appointment.

Where We Are
Our office is in Oita City on the east coast of Kyushu. Berths, yards and activity locations are confirmed one by one, so please write to us before you travel.

The Google Maps link opens a search for this address on Google's site. Nothing is loaded from Google until you click it.
Send Us the Details of Your Boat
Tell us the boat, the plan and the dates you have in mind. You will get a written reply, and nothing is booked or charged until you accept it.
